Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Design For A Title Page: Ladies And Gentlemen Flanking A Scene Of The Annunciation On A Stage by Jan Martszen the Younger for EUR 875.00. This price was achieved in the auction The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Martszen the Younger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Wooded Dune Landscape With Bandits Holding Up A Covered Wagon in December 2007 with an auction result of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 31,660.75).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Design For A Title Page: Ladies And Gentlemen Flanking A Scene Of The Annunciation On A Stage von Jan Martszen the Younger für EUR 875,00 erwerben.
