In December 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Commemorative Sale, which included the work Judaspenning in Japanse vaas by Jan Mankes. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 236,000.00 48% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jan Mankes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 417,450.00 in June 2004 for the work Bomenrij.

Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Commemorative Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Judaspenning in Japanse vaas von Jan Mankes zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 236.000,00 und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Mankes haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 417.450,00 im Juni 2004 für die Arbeit Bomenrij beobachtet.
