A top price for Jan Jacobsz. van der Stoffe
In April 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Paintings Sale, which included the work A Cavalry Skirmish by Jan Jacobsz. van der Stoffe. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,951.80), 17% above the upper estimate. With this result, A Cavalry Skirmish is even the most expensive work of art by Jan Jacobsz. van der Stoffe that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Jan Jacobsz. van der Stoffe
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Cavalry Skirmish von Jan Jacobsz. van der Stoffe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.951,80) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist A Cavalry Skirmish sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jan Jacobsz. van der Stoffe, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
