Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Het Veersche gat; near Veere by Jan Heyse. The price achieved of EUR 8,125.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Heyse - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bulb fields near Westkapelle, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 17,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Het Veersche gat; near Veere von Jan Heyse zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.125,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Heyse mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bulb fields near Westkapelle beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 17.500,00 versteigert wurde.
