Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Figures By The City Wall Of Utrecht, The Geertekerk In The Distance by Jan Hendrik Verheijen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2004, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 5,377.50. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Hendrik Verheijen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch a Lively Townscene, Utrecht in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 96,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Figures By The City Wall Of Utrecht, The Geertekerk In The Distance von Jan Hendrik Verheijen im April 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 5.377,50 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Hendrik Verheijen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch a Lively Townscene, Utrecht im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 96.750,00.
