Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A capriccio view of a sunlit Dutch town by Jan Hendrik Verheijen. The auction ended at the price of EUR 25,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Hendrik Verheijen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch a Lively Townscene, Utrecht , which sold at auction in June 2011 for EUR 96,750.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A capriccio view of a sunlit Dutch town von Jan Hendrik Verheijen zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 25.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Hendrik Verheijen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch a Lively Townscene, Utrecht beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für EUR 96.750,00 versteigert wurde.
