This artwork by Jan Henderikse achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2021. In the The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur auction, the work Dm-Shirt sold for EUR 875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Henderikse achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 74,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Henderikse erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur wurde die Arbeit Dm-Shirt für EUR 875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Henderikse erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 74.500,00.
