A top price for David Col - as previously expected
The work The tasting by David Col was sold in the Fine Nineteenth Century European Art auction at Christies in New York in April 2001. It changed hands for a price of USD 19,975.00 (€ 22,509.58) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The tasting is the most expensive artwork by David Col that we have observed at auctions so far.
