Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Voisinage" by David Col was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2007. The price achieved of EUR 6,850.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Col - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The tasting, which sold at auction in April 2001 for USD 19,975.00 (€ 22,509.58).

Die Arbeit "Voisinage" von David Col wurde im Oktober 2007 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.850,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
