The price achieved of EUR 9,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Cossiers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Parable Of The Prodigal Son in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 662,500.00 (€ 852,857.20).
