Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work The Fat Ox by Jan Boeckhorst. The price achieved of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,482.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Jan Boeckhorst have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2020 the work Alexander The Great Crowning Roxana was auctioned for USD 150,000.00 (€ 135,220.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Fat Ox von Jan Boeckhorst zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 97.482,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Boeckhorst konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2020 die Arbeit Alexander The Great Crowning Roxana für USD 150.000,00 (€ 135.220,41) versteigert.
