Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A merry company with a violin player by Jan Baptist Lambrechts was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Baptist Lambrechts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A family hunting group outside a Neoclassical mansion, which sold at auction in October 2004 for GBP 8,365.00 (€ 12,039.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A merry company with a violin player von Jan Baptist Lambrechts kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Baptist Lambrechts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A family hunting group outside a Neoclassical mansion beobachtet, die im Oktober 2004 für GBP 8.365,00 (€ 12.039,54) versteigert wurde.
