Admittedly, works by Jan Baptist Huysmans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Un nuage en plein soleil: A plume of smoke in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 217,250.00 (€ 276,018.57).
