Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View of a village by Jan Altink was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2007. The price achieved of EUR 2,640.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Altink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hooiers in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 96,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View of a village von Jan Altink kam im Januar 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.640,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Altink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hooiers im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 96.000,00.
