Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work A summer landscape with hay stacks by Jan Altink. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,440.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Altink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hooiers in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 96,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A summer landscape with hay stacks von Jan Altink zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.440,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Altink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hooiers im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 96.000,00.
