The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 7,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than six times as high at USD 44,100.00 (€ 37,554.29). This high result makes The Demon in my Dreadful Dream during Delirium the most expensive artwork by Jamini Prakash Gangooly that we have observed at auctions so far.
