Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Andy Warhol Sitting With Archie (No. 9) by Jamie Wyeth was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 87,500.00 (€ 79,408.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamie Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pumpkinhead–Self-Portrait in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,690,000.00 (€ 1,517,736.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Andy Warhol Sitting With Archie (No. 9) von Jamie Wyeth kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 87.500,00 (€ 79.408,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamie Wyeth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pumpkinhead–Self-Portrait im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.690.000,00 (€ 1.517.736,87).
