This price was achieved in the auction Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamie Wyeth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pumpkinhead–Self-Portrait in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,690,000.00 (€ 1,517,736.87).

Die Arbeit The Warning von Jamie Wyeth war einem Käufer im Mai diesen Jahres USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.795,10) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 200,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamie Wyeth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pumpkinhead–Self-Portrait im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.690.000,00 (€ 1.517.736,87).
