The work Lady by Jamian Juliano-Villani was worth HKD 2,125,000.00 (€ 240,700.65) to a buyer in December 2021. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jamian Juliano-Villani; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Heat Wave sold at auction in June 2021 with the realized price of HKD 3,150,000.00 (€ 342,171.67).
