Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sir Charles Blunt On Horseback Jumping A Ditch In Pursuit Of A Boar In India; "Evening" In A Four-Part Series by James Ward was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2020. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,976.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Ward achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Terrier, Stoat And Dead Rabbit In A Rocky Landscape in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 512,000.00 (€ 752,192.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sir Charles Blunt On Horseback Jumping A Ditch In Pursuit Of A Boar In India; "Evening" In A Four-Part Series von James Ward kam im Januar 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion.
