A top price for James Taylor - as previously expected
The work French Railway Siding by James Taylor was sold in the The Sunday Sale auction at Christies in London in January 2013. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,334.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, French Railway Siding is the most expensive artwork by James Taylor that we have observed at auctions so far.
