The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,746.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Stark - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Wooded Landscape With Figures On A Track, A Cottage Beyond, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 24,000.00 (€ 34,727.60).
