Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Family Group by James Ferrier Pryde was sold in the The Evill/Frost Collection Part II auction at Sothebys in London in June 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,042.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Ferrier Pryde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Red Ruin in September 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 106,007.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Family Group von James Ferrier Pryde wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion The Evill/Frost Collection Part II bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.042,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Ferrier Pryde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Red Ruin im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 106.007,14).
