The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,060.00 (€ 2,703.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Figure in a beached fishing boat is the most expensive artwork by James Milton Sessions that we have observed at auctions so far.
