Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,223.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James McIntosh Patrick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Springtime In Perthshire, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,413.18).
