Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Above Wellbank, Rossie Priory by James McIntosh Patrick was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 3,938.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James McIntosh Patrick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Springtime In Perthshire in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,413.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Above Wellbank, Rossie Priory von James McIntosh Patrick wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 3.938,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James McIntosh Patrick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Springtime In Perthshire im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 53.413,18).
