Admittedly, works by James Lynwood Palmer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Horses in an extensive landscape with figures beyond in December 2008 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,145.48).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.188,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Lynwood Palmer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Horses in an extensive landscape with figures beyond im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.145,48).
