A top price for James Kerr-Lawson - as previously expected
The work St Martin-in-the-Fields by James Kerr-Lawson was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. The auction ended at the price of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 32,938.01), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, St Martin-in-the-Fields is the most expensive artwork by James Kerr-Lawson that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit St Martin-in-the-Fields von James Kerr-Lawson kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 32.938,01) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist St Martin-in-the-Fields das teuerste Kunstwerk von James Kerr-Lawson, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
