Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work London Bridge by James Kerr-Lawson was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,293.13), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Kerr-Lawson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work St Martin-in-the-Fields, which sold at auction in July 2019 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 32,938.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit London Bridge von James Kerr-Lawson kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.293,13) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von James Kerr-Lawson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit St Martin-in-the-Fields beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 32.938,01) versteigert wurde.
