A top price for James Jarvis - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Three Works) by James Jarvis was sold in the Contemporary Showcase: Kawaii Pop auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 27,720.00 (€ 2,930.22) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Three Works) is the most expensive artwork by James Jarvis that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Untitled (Three Works) von James Jarvis wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Showcase: Kawaii Pop bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 27.720,00 (€ 2.930,22) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (Three Works) das teuerste Kunstwerk von James Jarvis, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
