Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by James Howe could be acquired at Christies in New York in November 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the THE HOUSE SALE auction, the work A grey hunter with two dogs in a landscape changed hands for USD 960.00 (€ 814.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Howe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Grey Hunter With Two Dogs In A Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2004 for GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,578.50).
