In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work 'Windswept' sold for USD 11,250.00 (€ 8,317.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Earle Fraser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The End of the Trail in January 2024 with an auction result of USD 1,381,000.00 (€ 1,206,956.83).
