However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Duffield Harding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A crowded merchantman in the Channel amidst other shipping, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,180.58).
