Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by James Coignard could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Two compositions changed hands for DKK 2,600.00 (€ 348.37) - just shy of the DKK 4,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Coignard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Clavier in April 2009 with an auction result of EUR 14,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von James Coignard konnte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit Two compositions für DKK 2.600,00 (€ 348,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Coignard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Clavier im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.640,00.
