The work Composition - Circa 1980 by James Coignard was sold in the Prints including Maurice Houdayer’s Collection Online auction at Artcurial in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 195.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Coignard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Clavier in April 2009 with an auction result of EUR 14,640.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition - Circa 1980 von James Coignard wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Prints including Maurice Houdayer’s Collection Online bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 195,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Coignard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Clavier im April 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.640,00.
