In the THE SCOTTISH SALE, THE ASSEMBLY ROOMS, EDINBURGH auction, the work Summer Moonlight, Firth of Forth sold for GBP 3,824.00 (€ 5,585.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Cassie - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bass Rock, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,721.98).

Für andere Arbeiten von James Cassie mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bass Rock beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.721,98) versteigert wurde.
