In December 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Still Life by James Bolivar Manson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,091.25 (€ 2,959.69), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Bolivar Manson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Light Lunch, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,212.82).

Im Dezember 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life von James Bolivar Manson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.091,25 (€ 2.959,69) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von James Bolivar Manson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Light Lunch beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.212,82) versteigert wurde.
