Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,710.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by James Bolivar Manson have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2013 the work A Light Lunch was auctioned for GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,212.82).

Die Arbeit Pink Tulips von James Bolivar Manson wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.710,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von James Bolivar Manson konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2013 die Arbeit A Light Lunch für GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.212,82) versteigert.
