Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction New Now & Design, which included the work Aqua by Jade Kim. It changed hands for a price of HKD 114,300.00 (€ 13,412.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jade Kim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reflection in September last year with an auction result of HKD 756,000.00 (€ 98,373.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion New Now & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aqua von Jade Kim zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 114.300,00 (€ 13.412,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jade Kim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reflection im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 756.000,00 (€ 98.373,51).
