Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait de Raymond Duchamp-Villon - circa 1911 by Jacques Villon was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,528.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Villon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Acrobate in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,025,000.00 (€ 920,520.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait de Raymond Duchamp-Villon - circa 1911 von Jacques Villon kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.528,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Villon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Acrobate im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.025.000,00 (€ 920.520,88).
