Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work View Across A Landscaped Park, With A Country House To The Left And Figures By A Lake To The Right by Jacques Rigaud. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,564.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Rigaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Colonnade in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,774.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Across A Landscaped Park, With A Country House To The Left And Figures By A Lake To The Right von Jacques Rigaud zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.564,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Rigaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Colonnade im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.774,65).
