Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Dômes by Jacques Rigaud was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings auction at Christies in London in July 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,951.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jacques Rigaud have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2007 the work La Colonnade was auctioned for GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,774.65).
