Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jacques Monory achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2021. In the Collection Alain Bouret auction, the work Baiser n°21 sold for EUR 16,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacques Monory have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 92,940.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques Monory erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Alain Bouret wurde die Arbeit Baiser n°21 für EUR 16.875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques Monory auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.940,00.
