In the The Sleep of Reason | A Private Collection of Surrealist Art Online auction, the work without title sold for USD 875.00 (€ 784.82) - well above the upper estimate of USD 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Hérold achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Transparent in July 2005 with an auction result of EUR 22,200.00.

In der Auktion The Sleep of Reason | A Private Collection of Surrealist Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 875,00 (€ 784,82) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Hérold erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Transparent im Juli 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.200,00.
