The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,775.27), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jacques Charlier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trois femmes au bord d'un ruisseau tenant une urne in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 12,925.00.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.775,27) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques Charlier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trois femmes au bord d'un ruisseau tenant une urne im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.925,00.
