The work Reclining Nude, Circa 1750 by Jacques Charlier was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,220.22), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Jacques Charlier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trois femmes au bord d'un ruisseau tenant une urne in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 12,925.00.

Die Arbeit Reclining Nude, Circa 1750 von Jacques Charlier kam im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.220,22) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacques Charlier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trois femmes au bord d'un ruisseau tenant une urne im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.925,00.
