This artwork by Jacques Chapiro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in October 2014. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Vue De Paris - 1924 sold for EUR 11,700.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Chapiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a young girl, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 24,000.00 (€ 28,193.82).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 95 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques Chapiro erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Vue De Paris - 1924 für EUR 11.700,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Chapiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a young girl beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 24.000,00 (€ 28.193,82) versteigert wurde.
