The price achieved of GBP 11,750.00 (€ 19,204.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jacques Barraband have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Troisième variété du perroquet cendré - The Grey Parrot - Psittacus erithacus. in June 2000 with an auction result of GBP 91,750.00 (€ 145,435.04).
