Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dutch Sur Le Bord by Jacqueline de Jong for EUR 12,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Jacqueline de Jong have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December last year by the work Ohne Titel at EUR 17,780.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dutch Sur Le Bord von Jacqueline de Jong für EUR 12.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jacqueline de Jong wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember letzten Jahres die Arbeit Ohne Titel mit EUR 17.780,00.
