Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Dutch Qu'Il A Mauvais Mine by Jacqueline de Jong for EUR 6,875.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde at Sothebys in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacqueline de Jong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ohne Titel, which sold at auction in December last year for EUR 17,780.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dutch Qu'Il A Mauvais Mine von Jacqueline de Jong für EUR 6.875,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde bei Sothebys in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacqueline de Jong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für EUR 17.780,00 versteigert wurde.
